Description
The Director of Campaign Insights & Measurement leads post-sale measurement and insights for Betches’ advertising partners. They own how we prove, explain, and grow the value of every campaign, from setting measurement plans at kickoff through in-flight optimization, wrap reporting, and ad effectiveness research.
The Director partners closely with Sales, Account Management, and the Branded Content team to turn campaign performance into clear, defensible stories that drive renewals and upsells. They manage the measurement vendors, tools, and benchmarks required to evaluate campaign outcomes against client KPIs.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Director of Data Strategy & Solutions will:
Own the post-sale measurement framework, defining standard campaign KPIs, success metrics, and reporting cadence alongside Sales leadership
Deliver campaign insights and wrap reports that translate performance across social, video, podcast, newsletter, and custom content into strategic narratives for clients
Manage ad effectiveness research, including brand lift studies, from study design through client readout
Build and maintain campaign benchmarks that make Betches’ performance easy to contextualize and defend
Partner with Sales and Account Management to surface results and learnings that drive renewals, upsells, and stronger future proposals
Present campaign outcomes and insights to client and agency stakeholders with confidence and clarity
Campaign Insights & Wrap Reporting:
Develop measurement plans at campaign kickoff, aligning with client teams on KPIs, deliverables, and data sources
Produce mid-campaign and wrap reports that go beyond delivery metrics to explain what worked, why, and what to do next
Build scalable templates and processes so reporting is consistent, accurate, and on time across all campaigns
Maintain a centralized, accessible database of campaign results and benchmarks by category, format, and platform
Aggregate learnings across campaigns into case studies and proof points for the sales team
Ad Effectiveness & Measurement:
Scope, design, and manage brand lift and other ad effectiveness studies, including questionnaire development, audience segmentation, and competitive measurement
Manage relationships with third-party measurement partners and evaluate new vendors and methodologies
Interpret study results rigorously and translate them into honest, defensible client narratives
Advise Sales on measurement offerings during the proposal stage so that what we sell is something we can measure
Stay current on industry measurement standards and how they apply to social-first and creator-led content
Branded Content & Cross-Functional Support:
Partner with the Branded Content team to share performance insights that inform creative, format, and distribution decisions
Feed post-campaign learnings back into pitch materials and future proposals
Work with Sales, Account Management, and campaign operations to ensure clean data handoffs and accurate tracking from launch to wrap
Increase the use of campaign data in sales planning and client strategy conversations
Qualifications
6-8+ years of experience in campaign analytics, ad effectiveness research, or media measurement, with a strong focus on the media industry
Proven ability to turn campaign data into strategic recommendations, and independently build the outputs (wrap reports, dashboards, and presentations) that bring those insights to life
Hands-on experience designing and managing brand lift studies and other ad effectiveness research, including working with third-party measurement vendors
Background working with agencies or brands on executing media campaigns, with strong familiarity with the media planning process and how clients evaluate campaign success
Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate campaign performance into clear, strategic narratives that inform future strategy
Experience building reporting frameworks, templates, and benchmarks from the ground up in a fast-paced environment
Excellent workflow management skills, with the ability to manage many concurrent campaigns and deadlines while working cross-functionally
Ability to prioritize across competing business needs and operate effectively in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment
Familiarity with data platforms and analytics tools such as Looker Studio, Supermetrics, Comscore, Kantar, YouGov, Meta Business Suite, TikTok and Instagram analytics, and Google Analytics
AI experience and proficiency, experience driving enablement and developing agentic solutions to automate reporting and day-to-day operations
Compensation
The expected annual base salary for this role is $120,000 - $125,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation and offer package will include the following perks below.
