Description
Betches Media is looking for a Senior Account Executive to support strategic brand partnership efforts across our digital, social, and audio channels. This is a maternity leave cover role (approximately June–December) with the opportunity to step into and manage an established book of business while also driving new revenue opportunities.
We are seeking a highly strategic and consultative seller who can seamlessly take over key accounts, maintain strong client relationships, and identify opportunities for growth and renewal. This individual should be comfortable jumping into active conversations, owning in-flight deals, and building incremental pipeline.
This role can be based in New York or Los Angeles, with a preference for Los Angeles.
Roles & Responsibilities
Take ownership of an existing book of business, managing active accounts and in-flight opportunities
Maintain and grow relationships with key brand and agency partners across priority categories including entertainment, automotive, and travel
Drive renewal and incremental revenue across existing accounts through multi-platform programs (social, audio, web, newsletters)
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging both existing relationships and outbound prospecting
Collaborate cross-functionally with Integrated Marketing, Creative, and Leadership to develop strategic, insight-driven proposals
Manage pipeline, track performance against revenue targets, and ensure timely follow-ups and deal progression
Stay ahead of industry trends and platform updates to inform client strategy and unlock new opportunities
Deliver a high level of client service and partnership throughout the lifecycle of each campaign
Qualifications
5–8+ years of experience in digital media sales, with a strong track record of closing and growing revenue
Experience managing existing business while also contributing to new pipeline development
Strong relationships across brand and agency partners, particularly within entertainment, automotive, and/or tech categories
Proven ability to sell integrated, multi-platform programs
Experience managing and closing large, customized deals ($250K–$500K+)
Highly organized, proactive, and able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate client goals into strategic recommendations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint/Keynote
Bachelor’s degree required
Compensation
Compensation includes a monthly retainer of approximately $15,000 plus commission. Additional compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
