Do you have a sixth sense for what’s trending before it even hits the algorithm? Can you spot a viral moment a mile away and turn it into can’t-miss content? Betches Media is on the hunt for a Video Growth & Performance Manager who can handle everything from crafting strategy to optimizing everything our audience sees across video platforms. Betches Media is looking for a Video Growth & Performance Manager to add to our video team!

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled channel manager who is extremely digital savvy, highly organized, and an expert at SEO and platform optimization, when it comes to both long-form and short-form comedic, narrative, and/or unscripted digital video content across Betches Media platforms. This candidate should be native to YouTube, TikTok, and Snapchat, and understand how to best amplify our content across video platforms. You will play a major part in growing our video accounts and driving platform revenue on each channel.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Post-Production, you’ll work closely with our podcast and social teams to bring our video content to our audience.

Roles & Responsibilities

Platform Strategy:

• Work with senior leadership to develop a posting and optimization strategy that best positions Betches’ channels and content for growth.
• Monitor analytics on YouTube and TikTok to measure performance, identify opportunities, and refine strategies.
• Implement best practices for audience retention, engagement, and channel growth.

YouTube Channel Management

• Manage all aspects of the Betches Media YouTube channel, including uploading and scheduling original video content, podcast videos, and social media repurposed videos.
• Develop and maintain a content schedule to ensure consistent posting and alignment with overall brand goals.
• Optimize video uploads with compelling titles, descriptions, tags, and custom thumbnails to maximize visibility and engagement.
• Post and schedule YouTube Shorts that align with platform trends and audience preferences.

TikTok Account Management

• Take ownership of the Betches Media TikTok account, overseeing daily posting, content planning, and audience engagement.
• Collaborate with the social team to create original, on-brand TikTok content that drives reach and growth.
• Stay ahead of platform trends to implement strategies that increase visibility and maintain relevance.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the Associate Director, Post-Production, as well as the social teams, to align video strategies with overall brand goals and voice.
• Partner with creative teams to brainstorm and execute innovative video ideas tailored to each platform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing or growing successful YouTube and TikTok channels, with expertise in analytics, SEO, and content strategy.
• Hands-on experience in content creation, video production, and editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro preferred).
• Strong understanding of YouTube’s algorithm, SEO, metadata, and audience behavior for growth.
• Proficiency in YouTube Studio for managing content, analyzing performance, and optimizing videos.
• Familiarity with multi-platform social media management (Facebook, Instagram, X) and cross-platform content promotion.
• Strong organizational skills for content planning, calendars, and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to develop content strategies aligned with brand voice and audience engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication to collaborate with creators, brands, and audiences.
• Ability to adapt to evolving YouTube trends, tools, and features.
• Team player with problem-solving skills to troubleshoot growth, engagement, or technical issues.
• Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Canva) for thumbnails and visual assets.
• Knowledge of YouTube policies, copyright laws, and monetization methods (ads, Super Chats, memberships, etc.).
• Ability to engage and manage community interactions professionally, fostering an active and loyal audience.
  

Compensation

The hourly rate for this role is $30 - $35, working up to 35 hours per week.
